UV printers are designed to work with UV-curable inks. As the ink is applied to the substrate or printed material, the UV printer uses UV light to cure the ink quickly. UV inks are designed to dry quickly when exposed to UV light and this process happens very fast, which helps produce durable and sharp prints.
UV printing utilizes a UV light source, which is important, since it emits a high-intensity beam of ultraviolet light. This triggers a chemical reaction in the UV ink, which causes the ink to harden and adhere to the surface of the substrate or printed material.
