The Flexfit 6277 is the cotton blend, wooly combed cap, while the Flexfit 5001 is the V-Flexfit® cotton twill cap. The primary difference is the material. The Flexfit 5001 is 98% cotton / 2% PU spandex, while the Flexfit 6277 is 63% polyester / 34% cotton / 3% PU spandex. The polyester material and lower cotton content for the Flexfit 6277 give it a more wool-like fabric, hence the name, "wooly combed" cap. The much higher cotton content for the Flexfit 5001 give it a smoother and softer surface. The Flexfit 6277 is also available in more colors compared to the Flexfit 5001. The Flexfit 5001 has ~8 colors compared to the ~30 colors for the Flexfit 6277.
Both the Flexfit 6277 and Flexfit 5001 are structured, 6-panel caps and come in 2 sizes: S/M and L/XL. The hats are both mid-profile, have curved visors, and have the same corwn height, 3.5". The Flexfit 6277 is one of Flexfit's best selling baseball caps.
