The Bella + Canvas 3001 is the unisex jersey short sleeve tee and the Bella + Canvas 3001CVC is the unisex heather CVC short sleeve tee. The primary difference is the material. The 3001 shirt is made of 100% Airlume combed and ringspun cotton for most colors, while the 3001CVC shirt is made of a blend: 52% Airlume combed and ringspun cotton, 48% polyester for most colors. Another difference is the 3001 shirt includes all of the solid colors, while the 3001CVC shirt includes all of the heather colors. The cotton/polyester blend of the 3001CVC helps to create the heather colors.
The CVC in 3001CVC stands for Chief Value Cotton. It refers to a cotton and polyester blend with a higher percentage of cotton (in the case of the 3001CVC, 52% cotton and 48% polyester). CVC t-shirts are popular since they have the look and feel of triblend shirts, but do not contain Rayon, which makes the CVC shirts less expensive. Bella + Canvas's triblend shirt is the 3413, which consists of 50% cotton, 25% polyester, 25% rayon, but is at a higher price point.
