The Park Wholesale, a leading supplier of custom logo apparel, promotional products, and custom logo decoration services, announced that it will be expanding its custom services to include UVDTF, UV patches, and laser patches on genuine leather and faux leather (sometimes known as leatherette, fake leather, or vegan leather).
Custom decoration services currently offered include embroidery (flat embroidery and 3D puff embroidery, custom patches (embroidered patches, leather patches, woven label patches, sublimated patches, screen printed patches, rubber patches, suede patches, and 3D puff patches), screen printing, heat transfers, and custom labels (leather clip labels, woven clip labels, and woven internal labels).
UVDTF stands for ultraviolet direct to film. In UVDTF printing, a UV printer is used to print to sheets and instead of printing directly on objects, one can print to sheets, creating a UV printed sticker sheet. Then, peel and transfer the UV stickers to your objects. UVDTF is perfect for curved materials, irregular materials, or tall and large materials that may normally not be able to be printed directly to. UVDTF is great for cups, bottles, keychains, notebooks, and more. It can be used on a wide range of materials including glass, plastic, wood, and metal.
UV patches utilize a UV printer to print the logo or design directly on the leather and then are laser cut around the image for the shape desired. UV printing is a printing process that uses UV light to instantly cure ink. It uses various printers, inks, and UV light tech to create premium quality prints on the material. UV printers work specifically with UV-curable inks and the printer uses UV light to cure the ink as soon as it is applied to the printed material.
UV inks are intended to dry quickly when expoed to UV light and as a result produces vibrant, sharp, and lasting prints. The instant curing allows for faster production rates, since you do not have to spend as much time drying the ink.
