Sportsman SP12 vs. Sportsman SP08 (Knit Beanies) - What is the Difference?
Sportsman SP12 vs. Sportsman SP08 (Knit Beanies) - What is the Difference?
The Sportsman SP12 is the 12" Cuffed Beanie and the Sportsman SP08 is the 8" knit beanie. The primary difference is the length. The SP12 is 12" in length (unfolded/uncuffed), while the SP08 is 8" in length. The SP12 may also be referred to as a long beanie, since it is 12" in length and the SP08 as a short beanie, since it is 8" in length. For long beanies or 12" beanies, they are often folded or rolled up slightly to create a cuff. As shown in the image, the SP12 has a cuff that is approximately 3", but this can be adjusted depending on the wearer's preference.
Both beanies are made of 100% acrylic for most colors. The Sportsman SP12 and Sportsman SP08 both come in more than 30 colors. Beanies may be referred to by many names such as knit caps, knit beanies, skull caps, beanies, and winter caps.
